Customer Privacy Policy

This section applies to customers, pharmaceutical representatives, office managers, employees participating in group orders, and anyone placing or managing catering orders through Local Zest Catering.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide when creating an account, placing an order, joining a group order, contacting support, or using rewards and referral features.

  • Name, email address, phone number, business name, delivery address, suite or room number, and order notes.
  • Account login information and customer profile details.
  • Order details, menu selections, modifiers, delivery date and time, selected restaurant, rewards activity, and referral activity.
  • Payment-related details processed through our payment provider. Local Zest Catering does not store full credit card numbers.
  • Technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, and activity needed for security, fraud prevention, and platform improvement.

How We Use Customer Information

  • To create and manage customer accounts.
  • To process catering orders, group orders, delivery updates, receipts, rewards, referrals, and support requests.
  • To notify restaurants, drivers, office managers, and customers about active orders.
  • To provide customer service, prevent fraud, improve the platform, and maintain business records.
  • To send transactional emails and SMS messages related to orders, deliveries, group ordering, rewards, referrals, and support.

Sharing Customer Information

We share only the information reasonably needed to complete an order or operate the Local Zest platform.

  • Restaurants receive order details, delivery details, customer contact information, and notes needed to prepare the order.
  • Drivers may receive delivery details, contact information, and order tracking information.
  • Payment processors, email providers, SMS providers, hosting providers, and mapping providers may process information on our behalf.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, fraud investigation, payment dispute, chargeback, or platform security issue.

Rewards and Referrals

Local Zest may track rewards points, redemption requests, referral codes, qualifying orders, and related account activity. Rewards and referrals are subject to verification and may be denied or reversed for abuse, fraud, duplicate accounts, chargebacks, canceled orders, or misuse.

Customer Choices

  • You may contact Local Zest Catering to request help with your account or order history.
  • You may reply STOP to SMS messages to opt out of text messaging or HELP for assistance.

Customer Terms of Service

By using Local Zest Catering, creating an account, placing an order, joining a group order, or using rewards or referrals, you agree to these customer terms.

Ordering and Payment

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing restaurant, menu, delivery, date, time, address, and order information before payment.
  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is successfully completed and accepted by the platform.
  • Prices, taxes, fees, tips, restaurant availability, delivery availability, and menu availability may change.
  • Service fees, delivery fees, taxes, tips, and restaurant charges may apply and will be shown during checkout when available.

Group Orders

Group order links are intended for the invited office, team, or group. Participants are responsible for submitting accurate names, meal selections, modifiers, and notes before the deadline. The final payer or representative is responsible for reviewing and paying for the final order.

Delivery and Timing

Local Zest Catering works to support scheduled catering delivery, but delivery times may be affected by restaurant preparation, traffic, weather, driver availability, building access, incorrect addresses, or other conditions outside our control.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Issues

Cancellation and refund availability may depend on restaurant preparation status, order size, timing, and payment status. Customers should contact Local Zest Catering as soon as possible if there is a problem with an order.

Acceptable Use

Customers may not abuse rewards, create fraudulent accounts, misuse referral links, submit false information, interfere with platform operation, or use Local Zest Catering for unlawful or harmful activity.

Restaurant Partner Privacy Policy

This section applies to restaurants, restaurant owners, managers, staff members, and partner users using Local Zest Catering.

Restaurant Information We Collect

  • Owner name, manager name, restaurant name, business contact information, email addresses, phone numbers, restaurant address, and business details.
  • Menu items, categories, descriptions, prices, modifiers, photos, logos, videos, delivery radius, minimum order settings, hours, and availability.
  • Order history, payout information, referral activity, points activity, and partner dashboard activity.
  • Technical and account information needed to secure partner access and operate the platform.

How We Use Restaurant Information

  • To display approved restaurants and menus to customers.
  • To send order notifications, customer order details, delivery details, and partner communications.
  • To calculate commissions, restaurant payment summaries, payouts, tips, tax handling, referral rewards, and business reporting.
  • To review restaurant applications, prevent fraud, provide support, and improve the Local Zest platform.

Sharing Restaurant Information

Restaurant profile information, approved menus, public contact details, photos, videos, and operating information may be displayed to customers. Private owner account information is used for account management, order notifications, payout administration, and support.

Restaurant Partner Terms

By applying as a restaurant partner, creating a restaurant profile, receiving orders, or using the partner dashboard, the restaurant agrees to these partner terms.

Restaurant Approval

Restaurant participation may require review and approval by Local Zest Catering. Local Zest may approve, reject, pause, hide, or remove restaurant listings, menus, or accounts for quality, accuracy, safety, fraud prevention, customer experience, or business reasons.

Menu Accuracy and Order Fulfillment

  • Restaurants are responsible for keeping menus, prices, hours, availability, descriptions, modifiers, images, and contact information accurate.
  • Restaurants are responsible for preparing accepted orders accurately, safely, and on time.
  • Restaurants should promptly notify Local Zest Catering if an item, order, timing, or fulfillment issue occurs.

Restaurant Payments and Fees

Local Zest Catering may deduct a platform commission from restaurant subtotal amounts. Taxes, tips, payout timing, adjustments, chargebacks, refunds, and disputes may affect final restaurant payment. Restaurant payment reports may be shown in God Mode, partner dashboards, email summaries, or other accounting tools.

Partner Conduct

Restaurant partners may not submit false information, misuse customer data, contact customers for unrelated purposes, bypass the platform, manipulate pricing, abuse referrals, or interfere with Local Zest Catering operations.

SMS Messaging Terms

Local Zest Catering uses SMS for transactional and customer-service communications only.

Message Types

Messages may include account notifications, order confirmations, order status updates, delivery notifications, driver tracking updates, group ordering links, group order reminders, rewards notifications, gift card claim verification, and customer support communications.

Consent and Opt-Out

Customers may optionally consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Local Zest Catering by selecting an SMS consent checkbox during checkout, group ordering, account registration, or customer support interactions. SMS consent is not required to place an order or use Local Zest Catering. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Mobile information will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

No Unsolicited Marketing

Local Zest Catering does not send unsolicited marketing messages through SMS. SMS traffic is limited to transactional and customer-service communications related to Local Zest Catering accounts, orders, deliveries, rewards, group orders, and support.
